Spring 2019 was an exciting time in our little village! First and foremost, I’d like to thank each and every resident who came out to vote on March 19th and April 2, 2019. Your support was overwhelming! I’d also like to thank my family and friends, without whom I could not do what I do. Of course, a special thank you to my running mate and fellow Sloan Citizen’s Party member, Trustee Linda Ostempowski, who understands and shares my passion for the residents. I’ve been busy for the last six months. Along with serving on the Board, I’ve also been attending community meetings and volunteering throughout the village. In an effort to combat food insecurity, I’ve partnered with St. Andrew Church to bring a Free Little Pantry to Sloan, which is located at 34 Francis Street. The Pantry is open 24/7/365, to anyone in need. Take what you need and leave what you can. Non perishable donations can be left right in the pantry. I’m committed to working with the Mayor and my fellow Board members to seek out other ways to enrich our community. Working together with you, the residents, I’m confident we can improve the quality of life for all.
